Applying for a service dog:
Our service dogs are placed with people with a disability whose need is confirmed by a physician.
- Send us an inquiry through our Contact page and choose “Service Dog”.
- We’ll reply to explain the next steps and our current wait time.
- You complete an application, with a note from your health professional and at least two reference letters, and meet with us for an interview.
- Training a service dog takes about 18 to 24 months, including training together with you, the handler.
- We stay in touch after placement with follow-up support.
